Business objective
The goal was to organize visual material spread across multiple cities and many scenes into one digital experience for presenting industrial locations, roads, facilities and services through curated journeys instead of a long panorama archive.
What we delivered
We built a unified gateway for the Authority with a geographic map and published four city experiences for Dammam, Al Kharj, Jeddah and Riyadh Second Industrial City. Each tour uses five principal stops, Arabic and English content, contextual narration, modern krpano delivery and a responsive interface.
Value & outcome
The project now has one shareable digital entry point that brings the published cities together. The same system can support future expansion using the Hail, Sudair, Dammam Lake and Industrial Factory materials within the broader archive scope.
Project context
From a multi-city panorama archive to one industrial spatial experience
The Authority project archive covered Dammam, Al Kharj, Jeddah, Riyadh Second Industrial City, Hail and Sudair, with additional material for Dammam Lake and Industrial Factory. That breadth created strong documentation value and a practical question: how should many locations and scenes be presented so visitors can understand them quickly?
360Riyadh established Dammam as the master experience, then applied the same method to Al Kharj, Jeddah and Riyadh Second. Instead of giving every scene equal weight, five principal stops were selected for each published city to explain the site, roads, facilities, infrastructure and development context in a concise journey.
The main map connects the four published tours from a single gateway. Every city retains its original panorama assets, independent narration and project data within a consistent interface.
The challenge: different source structures, many scenes and one simple experience
The source archive was not one uniform product. File names, scene structures and viewer generations varied between locations. The work required preserving original imagery, correcting krpano paths and connecting the content without rebuilding every visual asset from scratch.
A second challenge was mobile usability. A long list of panoramas makes the experience difficult to understand, so each published city was rebuilt around five principal stops while retaining real 360° movement inside every scene.
